The AAPI Caucus applauds President Biden for making the difficult decision to drop out of the Presidential Race. We are deeply grateful to President Biden for his service and look forward to supporting Vice President Kamala Harris as the next presidential nominee of the Democratic Party. The AAPI-NCDP Executive Board will work diligently to elect the First AAPI President of the United States of America as we continue to organize within our communities.

Though the Presidential Race is crucial to upholding our democracy, we must also reaffirm our commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ballot in North Carolina. We call upon the AAPI community and Democrats across the state to continue to dedicate their time and energy to these vital races. Together, we will turn North Carolina blue and safeguard the rights and privileges we hold most dear.
